Twitter

Despite the fact that I have a Twitter account, I find the whole thing to be little more than a multi-million person fad. It's plagued by spammers and marketeers. At this point Twitter is just a spot for me to post links to new articles and little more. This cartoon from Hubspot sums up my feelings on it.

People Love Free Stuff

Just take a look at Burger King's Whopper Sacrifice Facebook marketing campaign. The concept of a promotion where you must give up people as friends to gain a free Whopper is really cool. The fact that people who were de-friended got a message saying that they were worth less than a tenth of a Whopper is even more hilarious.
